Preseason schedule set: six games, three at home

The Flyers announced a six-game preseason schedule on Monday, with three games at home and three on the road. The exhibition slate opens Sept. 22 against New Jersey and closes Oct. 4.

Roster cuts will come in three waves, the team said, with the final group assigned two days before the regular-season opener.

All six games will be broadcast on the team's regional network.
